It would be useful to have a list of available postwar aircraft

Revell Hunters and Eduard MiGs, Trumpeter Sabres  are well known.  Here's the beginning of a list of less popular ones:

1. F Toys - Meteor

2. Shapeways - Vampire

3. Miniwings - Seahawk and Shawnee

4. Oz Models -  Shooting Star

5 ?

These models are all quite rich in price with postage nudging the cost towards £20 .  Are there any more out there.

Revell have an extensive range - often with weird colours. I have a Eurofighter Typhoon, A10, and Eagle. Then there are the Chinese ones - Tornado, Jaguar, couple of Russian birds. No ide who made the Viggen.

Sounds like aggressive competition between rival courier companies. Mail War in American, of course.

I was thinking immediate post war period, as opposed to the modern period which has a plethora of models.

Revell did used to do a Lightening

The Lightening  is still available on Miniwings in resin.   You don't need a lot of aircraft for BKC/CWC rules- but with Indo China,  Falklands and potentially Korean troop/AFV  types coming on stream it opens up the gaming of lots of little bush wars late 1950s - late 1970s  that used kit that the first world armies had disposed off.

I had a really good skirmish game last week with T34's V Panhard 90s  and French Indo China Paras versus Falkland Brit infantry.

Miniwngs also do a Bronco which is most useful COIN aircraft.

I have plans of every Helicopter UK has used from 40's to today would anyone want them if I made them in 1/144th? in Resin?

Yes please!  :D Wessex and Whirlwind for starters!

If you could get them delivered by Anne Hathaway in a bikini then life would have reached perfection.

Hello James/Sunray

Kampfgruppe http://kampfgruppe144.blogspot.com.au/ is your friend. Just a quick look brought:-

Mind you I don't know how the boys would feel about being sold to white slavers to finance the purchase of some of them  :D

Edit - Also have a look at creations Chaubet http://jacques.chaubet.free.fr/01modeles.htm

Has many other aircraft with an inclination toward French aircraft but does have a Hawker Hunter:-

Cheers

At 56, I have a sex-life that is livelier than some people's fantasies! I wonder if should be running erotic awareness groups....
