Printed, cutout and blutacked the updated labels

I think I am now ready for the demo game on Saturday  

I will spend the next couple of days pondering what I have forgotten
Which of course will be obvious within the first 10 minutes on Saturday

Dice, tape measures, OB's, paper and pencil, markers if used, terrain, objectives as part of scenario if you write it up.

I will also have my camera, as suggested in my Trench thread

I managed to only forget my water bottle today 

We played the scenario twice, both games were interesting and enjoyable

We got a lot of interest from both other gamers and the public

Pictures and AAR to follow in the week, once I have had a chance to process the pictures and recover from a weekend gaming

Last night I realised it is just over four weeks till 15 March, 235^th anniversary of Guilford Courthouse

A quick check showed I have a bit left to do:

• complete the map
• write the scenario
• sort the troops and remove temporary labels from Cowpens
• make the required fields
• decide which hills to show and cut them out of foam

Looks like Cornwallis and Tarleton will have their work cut out for this one - outnumbered 2:1 by Greene with at least 3000 militia plus another 1900 Maryland and Virginian regulars........should be another very interesting game

I've made some progress

To do:

• complete the map - just units left to label
• write the scenario - came up with some victory conditions that seem to work
• sort the troops and remove temporary labels from Cowpens
• make the required fields - bought the felt yesterday
• decide which hills to show and cut them out of foam - decided now just need to buy foam and cut out

• make the required fields - bought the felt yesterday

Cut the felt up into the required fields and started making them look like ploughed fields.

I need 3 lots of felt to do the bottomland west of the Courthouse, I have one lot of felt left

I will finish the fields and hopefully get some more felt on Tuesday

• write the scenario - background and terrain description left
• make the required fields - finished  
• make the bottomland - buy more felt on Tuesday
• hills - buy foam (Tuesday) and cut out

So...We'll see something by Wednesday, then ?
