Snake fences on hold as I work on the Cowpens and Sheik Sa'ad (Mesopotamia, 1916) scenarios

Currently sorting out some sabot bases for skirmishers, I need up to 21 for Cowpens and only have 10, plus another 3 needed for the cavalry

Sabot bases prepared, painted and have had magnetic vinyl glued on

Just need to do any paint touch ups required and apply flock

Snake fences assembled while waiting for the glue, above, to dry

I've just discovered that the old almost empty pot of Tamiya Flat Earth I used on the other fences has finally dried out
I will have to buy a new pot once the local Stationery/Model shop opens in the next few days so the new short sections blend in

Paint touch ups done and flock applied last night

Flock touched up this morning

Sabots varnished 

New pot of Tamiya Flat Earth acquired and snake fences base coated

Cut out foam I will use for the hills for Cowpens demo game

Glad to see your shopping is as extensive as mine, went into the new local wargames shop - wanted to spend a bit of money to support them, but ended up just getting 2 pots of paint 

I did buy some brushes before Christmas as well

I try as much as I can to support them but the stock is limited 

Snake fences dry brushed and bases touched up yesterday, should be flocked today

Shrubbery added and highlighted, now waiting for varnishing weather (Tuesday according to the forecast)

There was a break in the rain so I grabbed the opportunity to varnish the snake fence

Preparations for the Cowpens demo game next Saturday almost complete

I just need to blutack the temporary labels, I have already cut out, to most of the American bases and a couple of the British bases

The convention has been advertised in the local free paper, and on it's parent company's website

Blutacked about half the temporary labels on, the short ones, and then discovered a couple of things...

1. I had not included the PT, for Poorly Trained, on the State Dragoon's label

2. The remaining labels that should have been 7.62cm long were, in fact, 8.7cm
    MS Word had obviously decided that when I said I wanted the width to be be 7.62cm (3") it was merely a suggestion

So I have updated the labels and will print them on Wednesday when I have access to a colour laser printer
