I've got the mounted King James - he is in the photo above leading the unicorns!
The pose is very similar to the knight above, with the sword raised, but his horse has less armour.

They're looking rather spiffy, Forbes !  :-bd

Did those models seem a little extra small to you?  I bought the Duke and James, and both seem to be just a bit smaller than everything else.  I was hoping to use them as Heros, but I don't know if I can get past the size difference.  Is this much variation normal with 10mm?

Techno

If it's any help, Tiberius.

The 'Flodden' figures are basically 'historical' scale, rather than the 'fantasy size'.

The fantasy figures are a mm or two taller than the historical models.

Jimmy was only a wee fellow. The sculpting obviously reflects his real life lack of inches.

Oops, a few weeks of missing posts (again...)

Not got that much painting done the last few weeks, been running around with the kids / busy with work / etc.

Did get a couple of games in, a good game of BKC set in France 1940, with a fictionalised French armoured attack, vs some German combined arms. It played out rather well in the end. The French stuttered forward, but got their heavy tanks into a good position - the German lighter armour swept forward, and was blown to bits. But then the German 88 ranged in from the far side of the table, picking off targets, and the Stukas finally found their range causing devastation. It kind of felt right overall, with the French winning the tactical battle, but loosing on the strategic side.

Also played Chain of Command the week before, in the same era - another French loss. It was a good game, but took a lot of time before we were comfortable with the rules - having not played for 18mts or so. There is a lot of detail to CoC, which takes quite a while to get the hang of again.

Space Marines
Distracted from 10mm by Epic again. Been shopping on eBay and got a bunch of yellow space marine infantry, and got a load of vehicles off a gaming mate, who still has the same again left as spares! Also bought a bunch of Squat infantry - now working out what vehicles to get for them.

Done a bit of tidying up of the infantry, and mainly been painting the armour.

Yay! Banana Marines! :)

I had a complete painted Imperial Fists chapter for Epic at one point, think I still have about half a chapter painted ... and 2, possibly 3, unpainted chapters. Plus the Eldar, Squats, Imperial Guards and Chaos stuff also unpainted. A plastic mountain to match the lead one :)

heap

Heap! Outrageous, it's carefully arranged. Well perhaps heap is the correct term.

Yep bannana marines.

I'm liking the plastic vehicles more than the old metals.

It seems everyone who played Epic back in the day had several armies stashed away.

They look good Peter. Though they may be verging on desert yellow rather than banana.
