Should we start a sweepstake?

Ha!  That collection is yours?  That's great, I actually found it awhile ago and have been enviously looking at it for inspiration for the past few months!  It is massive and beautiful.  I can only imagine how much that collection is worth now.  Quite impressive.

Thanks. Yep, all mine!! It's been put together over a good few years now, and pretty much all the GW WM stuff was bought on eBay, at well below the GW prices.  Yes,  I do dread to think what the current value would be. Even at £10 a unit and a bit more for the rares it's close to £500 in the main Empire photo, and there is a fair bit more since that photo. And a fair bit still in blisters. Then the elves, and Araby, and orcs.

But they are toys to be played with, and get a lot of table time, which is the key thing.

The anonymity of the Internet is funny, you having seen my figures, but having no way of connecting  them with my posts hear, is one minor thing. But one of my regular gaming group, saw photos of my WM stuff on a post on another forum, and sent me an email hoping that he had found another WM player!! He was a bit disappointed to discover it was just me, under a different name!!

That's great!  I guess you are an anonymous celebrity in the Warmaster world!  Now if you could just get a sponsorship deal.

Glad you are putting them to good use!  I am quite sad I didn't get into Warmaster earlier, I scan eBay regularly now, but I promised myself I would never spend more than $10 a blister, and I still have yet to get a single pack.  I do have about a 3,000 to 4,000 point Warhammer Empire army I slowly collected through eBay and such, but for the money I put into that I could probably have a pretty huge warmaster army.  Sadly I just never knew anyone who played Warmaster, so I never even considered it until the Warhammer world was killed.  Now I realize it was the game my group and I should have been playing the whole time!  (And yes, I will try Warbands at some point, but I'm still excited about discovering Warmaster right now)

Also what is this sweepstakes business?

What country do you live in Tiberius?

Sweepstake is a gambling term, were everyone puts in a fixed amount of money, and selects a time / date an event will happen (or in a race randomly selects a horse to win).

As Techno (Phil) is well known for injuring himself, it seemed very likely that has he had mentioned that he had been injury free for some time, that it was likely that he would be injuring himself again soon.

Zweihanders
Got the second blue unit based up - they probably need a bit of finishing off, but they are needed for a game tomorrow night too

Hopefully I'll have a nice heavy Pendraken parcel soon, and have some nice shiny Pendraken goodies to paint (of course I have a few million figures stashed away that I could paint...)

Blamed? We voted in the only serious opposition to the self-serving thugs voted in by the English. Saor Alba! :)
