From the Bank of England website.

"Under the Currency & Banknotes Act 1928 it is illegal to deface our banknotes (by printing, writing or impressing upon them words, letters or figures, etc.), although the question of whether or not to prosecute in individual cases is up to the police and the courts."

Think this also applies to coins.

Or it might be your imagination....

I think the coin bit was repealed in the last few years. You will note though that all my figures are on the obverse of the coin, so they aren't defacing them, as the face is on the other side  :P
Until its possible to buy large washers more cheaply than using coins, I'm sticking with coins.

I think the Pegasus and Unicorn share the same basic horse casting.
I also think these wings might be used in multiple codes - or I might be confusing myself with spares I have had in the past for kit bashing.

I'll have these based in the next few days, so will take a photo then, which I'm happy to go on the webstore.

Thanks Paul and Andy, it's good to be back posting updates.

Knights Panther

Really cracking on this weekend - unit of GW Knights Panther 90% finished

these guys came together very quickly, rather to my surprise, as I had thought the blue too dark at first, but persevered and the highlight colours have lifted the unit.

More Zweihanders

Started on the second unit of blue zwiehanders, using dark prussian blue, golden yellow and white as the palette on these chaps. So far mainly just the basic colours blocked in, with a bit of detailing picked out on a few.

Also fixed up a couple of stands of Birdmen, who had lost their wings!

These are GW WM Empire figures, with the addition of Pendraken wings. Used a good blob of greenstuff to aid the join this time.
