I needed at least one more detachment for the Battle of Cowpens so did two more detachments, one each for Lynch's and Campbell's Virginia Riflemen

With the push to finish the Militia for the Battle of Camden refight and then looking at what I will need for Cowpens I got of a bit of a surprise when I worked out what I would paint in the current batch.

There were no more Americans left to paint  

They are all done

That is a couple of 2'x2' tables put together for the pictures, but it has got me thinking about if I need an 8x6 rather than 6x4 for Guilford Courthouse

Yes, it varies a bit depending on unit strengths but between 1:8 and 1:10

As well as taking pictures I managed to get some work done on the current batch
- Officer's horses highlighted
- Coats base coated

With 3 battalions of British with only coats done my painting rods are looking very red at the moment

Jackets highlighted red
Small clothes and belts painted white
Trousers painted various colours

Not looking quite as red now

Some progress, musket stocks and base coat on half the packs

I hope to get some more done as the day goes on

I managed to finish the muskets, including bayonets and straps, and base coat and highlight all the packs

Now some domestic duties before I head off for a continuation of a 1942 Western Desert game

A wonderful looking game and armies to be proud of.

1942 Western Desert game did not go well for the Germans, 2pdr and 25pdrs taking out too many tanks
Good time had by all

Made good progress on current batch, last bags done, skin base coated, hair and facings done
