I was very pleased with how the terrain turned out for the game, amazing what we put together quickly with some sheets of packing foam, a big packet of lichen, Paul's desert basecloths and our usual terrain bits and bobs

One special rule I should include next time we play - Paul will roll d4 rather than d6's when firing  :d ....I'd swear the Ottomans had laser pointers on their rifles/MG's and artillery pieces today  :o

I was also very pleased with the overall look of the game and it came together so easily, good thinking on your part Peter :) :) :)

My dice rolling was embarrassingly good for most of the game :-[ :-[ :-[ and Peter has the picture to prove it :o

Been busy doing domestic stuff today so haven't got onto the AAR yet but here are a few pictures that I took:

The finished table from the Ottoman side - the village of Anafarta Sagir in the centre and the hills to the north are the ANZAC's main objectives.

The ANZAC's advance...the large brown coloured feature running up the middle of the table to the village with the ANZAC "blinds" is a wadi (dried up stream bed)

Did they get there in the end? - you'll have to read the AAR once done  ;)

Sounds like I had a similar Monday to Peter, domestic duties :(

I did manage to begin processing the pictures and get a little painting done  ;) :)
