Do they do the "twin thing" and finish each others sentences?

I've taught a number of twins and there's something disconcerting about all of them.
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

There was a bit of that but also at lot more of both pondering ;) ;D

I'm telling you,  all twins have some sort of shared brain thing going on!

They certainly used a sort of mumbling 'twin' language when talking to each other..... ;D ;D ;D ;D

That isn't uncommon.

I've seen twins at opposite sides of a classroom "talk" via a series of facial expressions and nods.

They're strange creatures. :)

Just dry brushing the hair of the last 20 casualties to do and then I'm finished the painting for this project

I didn't quite get round to doing it last night, found a few other things to do

If I'm honest, I think I'm reluctant for this project to be finished :-\

They've got to be done for this weekend :!! so I can take them in and help install them and the other 4,983 on the diorama  8) :D

This is a really awesome project - and its also great that its being done by so many volunteers (including you Paul!).

Do you have details of when its on/ where it is? My sister lives in Wellington  - and my Dad is due over to visit in the next couple of weeks too.

The Great War Exhibition, which this diorama is part of, is at the old Dominion Muesem, Buckle St in Wellington.
It will be well worth a visit or three ;)

It opens on 18 April, no pressure  :!!

More info here, http://www.eventfinder.co.nz/2015/opening-day-of-the-great-war-exhibition/wellington-region and here, http://www.eventfinder.co.nz/venue/the-great-war-exhibition-wellington

The current plan sees it open until at least November 2018 and it will be changing over time.

Will they be releasing complete pictures of the diorama or just teasers?

Much as I would like to see Wellington (and, dare I say it, Auckland too) again, sadly it's not going to happen. Hope the event goes well.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Not sure, I suspect it will be teasers initially to encourage people to visit :-\

Taking pictures of the whole thing will be a challenge

They are done

This morning before work I completed the last of my painting for this project

35 Turks, 30 Kiwis and 22 items of discarded kit

I will miss them, the painting has taken up a lot of the last two months, hard to believe it's only been two months

It has been a challenging, sobering and humbling project that I am proud to have been a small part of

This weekend I will be assisting with the installation of the figures on the diorama and whatever else needs doing
