Nice.... ditto. Like what you have done with the artillery. I did something similar but this is more elegant. :-bd
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

I like him. Lasalle is supposed to have said "the hussar who isn't dead by thirty is a blackguard". Makes you wonder how he got to be a general, doesn't it!

Apparently his exploits are legendary (and yet, no movie?) with Napoleon a great fan. When a prefect asked why Napoleon didn't discipline Lasalle for blowing 200,000 francs he had given him to get married, Napoleon responded that "It only takes a stroke of a pen to create a prefect, but it takes twenty years to make a Lasalle." (Napoleon gave him another 200,000 francs). By his own words, Lasalle was a blackguard - he died in action, age 34.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
