Excellent pictures. I'm a fan of the large base and I really like the depiction of the forts.

Manchou, how is your epic coming on?

Well, it should be ready within half a year, there is still the eastern part of Alsace including Strasbourg to paint !

I just calculated the surface of the painted battlefield already done: 708 Square meters !

Fantastic, I'm in awe of your scale, truly a grand project. Mollinary and Hold Fast are doing/have done a big Swiepwald game for their forthcoming book so there should be pictures coming up in the not too distant future. Getting the last of my French from Fernando this month, Guard Grenadiers, Voltigeurs and Arty, two brigades of Chasseurs D'Afrique, two regiments of Turcos (using the Pendraken ACW Zouave figures, I'll put some photos up) and a clutch of line regiments to bring my French 1st Corps completely up to strength plus one additional bog standard corps as makeweight. Combined with my two divisions of Reserve Cavalry I think that will be sufficient - for me at least!

Sometime yesterday (3/6) the views of my AAR went above the number of members of the forum.  Just a matter or interest to me to see if it would happen (knowing of course that not all members have read it).  I only recorded one day when there were no views.  At one point the number of members was growing faster than the growth of the views.

Last post was in November (after a hijack), but the views keep on coming.

Anyway, of interest to me to see that members are still looking at it.

Pretty much every time someone posts on a topic I come and look to see what's been said. So, if forty people comment on a topic I'll probably rack up three dozen views.

"Lies, damned lies and statistics".

On the other hand there are threads like this one where a recent post reminds me how good some part of it was and I go look at pictures/ blogs/ links again.

Stunning set-up and well worth another look!

Agree; this thread is well worth revisiting. Full of marvellous ideas and inspiration.
