Le Manchou

Thanks a lot for all those nice comments. The scenario and original map is from Bruce Weigle 1859 rulebook. The painted map (8'X 6') is from Wang He, a Chinese painter from Changchun, she is working for me for at least 5 years now mainly for my enormous 1870 project. I painted all the miniatures, Pascal did the mediterranean houses for me (he is preparing an 1870 range for next year). René invited us at his home, and offered the Pizzas and coffees, Davy brought a nice bottle of Alsace white wine and Ronan did this excellent battle report. So this was a team work. I think we all agreed that this was a very enjoyable game.

Attractive game (and interesting touch with the map). Should have attacked a la baionnette, Le Manchou!  :)
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Looks like a fun battle.  I have only done the canal crossing part of the battle in 15mm.  I like the idea of the map on the table.  Not sure how it would go over at the club.  Maybe you could sell the map and other people could enjoy the map.
