Looking forward to the seeing the Sinai figures as this is a theatre I would like to get involved with, especially with having some Turkish ancestry.

Sinai is an interesting theatre of war, and one that seems sometimes to be under represented in wargaming. The only downside for it is the thought of painting lots of Cavalry and camels
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Cavalry and camels - furry and Sopwith?

Recently bought a copy of ITLSU and have discovered that it is by no means a simple set of rules. Of itself this does not deter me, especially as I like the uncertainty of card driven games. However, unlike Dux Britanniarum, this set does not seem to have been proof read before being published, which has led to a lot of mental agility to untangle what the rules are getting at. It may be that I am a notoriously poor multi-tasker, but if I am trying to determine whether a plural is intended or if it is something belonging to something else, it sort of detracts from understanding what that particular rule is getting at. There are also words inserted that shouldn't be there and words that should be which are missing; the final annoyance being the dreaded apostrophe in a plural acronym. Several armoured fighting vehicles are AFVs, not AFV's, which means something belonging to one armoured fighting vehicle. Will still forge ahead with Middle East WWI, but wondered if you had noticed this in the rules.

We had indeed noted that the production values are not as high as some of the Lardies later rules. ;) Once you get past the 'cosmetic' challenges >:( the rules work very well and give a very good game. :D

If you PM me I am happy to send you a revised QRS I put together. It has two pages that covers the tables etc you need to play the game with supporting definitions. In addition there are two more pages that summarise the other main rules limiting reference to the rule book.

Thanks very much for that. Problem is I don't know how to PM or what it stands for.
