Some things one can put up with - there aren't many Tiger tanks in existence any more and they're too big to knit. But Mousquetaires du Roi in leather.....  Pah!
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Yeah, quite enjoyed it.

Anyone notice at the end (when they show next weeks snippet) that Porthos was aiming his pistol (matchlock, flintlock whatever) with the wrong eye closed??? :-\

Wasn't Porthos reknowned for being shitfaced most of the time? Might explain his cockeyedness :-[

Well.....I just hope it makes more sense this week.
Couldn't follow it at all last Sunday......Went on far too long....And appeared to be some sort of weird dream sequence......Lots of famous actors seemed to be making guest appearances though.
Looked more like an awards ceremony. ;) ;)
Cheers - Phil.

I havnt watched it since episode 2...just got bored with it
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

So Constance gets vaguely interesting last episode and so not a sight of her perky cleavage this time.

Nor indeed the kings part work ship.

It's one small disappointment after another - and I've heard that a few times.

This is definitely turning into a worthwhile series.

The king is turning out to have some character and one even feels a little sympathy for Richelieu.

We haven't watched for a couple of weeks now. It obviously hasn't grabbed us as a family, unlike Merlin and Atlantis. The time slot may have something to do with it...

Nosher

I haven't been able to catch it due to work, but have enjoyed what I have seen to date. Better than reality TV anyday, but so is watching paint dry ;D

Dont do catch up TV as I never seem to have the time to catch up ;D

Agreed.  Ryan Gage plays spoiled boy king beautifully; when he grins I could slap him.  I'm also wondering when Richelieu will show his true colours.

I thought his little speech in the aftermath of Ninon De Larroque's rescue in this weeks episode plus his comment about the papacy made to Milady summed up Richelieu's "true colours" rather well.

Enjoying the series immensely. So much better than the abominations that were Merlin and Atlantis.
