Even Mrs T enjoyed last week's episode.

So often the hero gives the "little lady" a little tuition in the combat arts and when she tries to put them into practice she winds up having to be rescued by the hero.

So it was nice to see Constance trounce the bad guy in a sword fight, in the story about the stolen baby.

Suggests that if D'Artagnan can't hack it as a Musketeer he has a promising career as a fencing master :)

Enjoying the series immensely. So much better than the abominations that were Merlin and Atlantis.

I forgot to say earlier.........I thought Atlantis was so, SO 'iffy' it made Merlin look good !

While on the subject of GoT.

"Why doesn't George R R Martin use Twitter?"

"All 140 characters have already been killed off!"

Took me a while ;D ;D ;D

Leman

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D - like that. Incidentally did the last episode of the Musketeers imply a blood relationship between Aramis and Louis XIV?

QuoteLouis XIV

I think the book is set during the reign of Louis XIII but given the series' rather swashbuckling disregard for history the odd Loius here or there can't be moaned about ;D

I think the point is that having just shagged Anne is Aramis Louis XIV's dad  :o

Leman

I think Louis XIV was Louis XIII's grandson, so I am implying that Aramis is grandad!

Well, I wouldn't presume to try and change what you think DP, but all the history books I read make it clear that Louis XIV was the son of Louis XIII and Anne of Austria.  :-\  Unexpectedly late in the marriage, but all the more welcome for that.   :D.
