I'd like to see a series about for example, MacBeth who was much besmirched by Shakepeare though he ruled for 17 years; the entire Norse period; the Border Reivers! So much excellent Scottish history and stunning landscape.

I think you will find the Border Reivers is as much about English history as Scots. I'd love to see a good series about how we English gave the Scots a good drubbing, going over the border to steal their men, beat their women and ravish their cattle....or something like that.
:P ;D

Yers, but a facinating period. I quite fancy besieging a Peel tower, that would look fantastic in 10mm!

Why don't the Musketeers use muskets? Dunno. Presumably the same reason most dragoons don't actually use a dragon no fusileers a fusil and grenadiers aren't the only ones using grenades?
France? Why not, after all we were allies for 300 years.
As to the difference between those at the top in a Kingdom or a Republic - you couldn't slide a sheet of A4 between the two :)

Really worried that we didn't see the king's model ship. Do you think the part work has finished?

Also, Constance is coming alive! Like to see her learning to shoot.

Yeah, quite enjoyed it.

Anyone notice at the end (when they show next weeks snippet) that Porthos was aiming his pistol (matchlock, flintlock whatever) with the wrong eye closed??? :-\

Wargaming can really spoil enjoyment of films and TV. I remember how cheesed off I was, on seeing the film for the first time at the tender age of 15, that every regiment in the Light Brigade had red trousers!!!!! :o

Maybe he missed a couple of issues of " Build yourself a Royal Galleon" at the newsagents
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I did mention to the wife that  the powder they used wasn't correct , some of the buckets the peasants used were of the wrong  diameter....  These bruises I have were caused by falling down the stairs a few times

Wargaming occupational hazzard is the inability to watch something historical and leave the brain outside :-\
