Well I started painting my Sudan stuff in May of this year and it came as a bit of shock to realise that I should be finished everything before the new year.
This is all I have left....

Congratulations, Maeno, but are you sure there's nothing more you can order - a few Zulus, the King's Troop RHA, a few crocodiles?  :D
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

My good lady wife has ordered me something for Christmas  :D

It has helped that there was support from the forum.

I have got a pile of Amazons as well as plains wars  to do too... not to mention all of the Magister dinosaurs.

Well that is the armoured cavalry finished (yesterday) and the Baggara cavalry almost finished tonight (faces and hands to do). Tomorrow onto the remains of the Dervish infantry. (Just remembered the Huge Dervish cannon is nearly finished too.)
I have 5 days left to finish it all off.... becoming doubtful that it will be all done to my self decided timeframe. I think I will put it back to 5th January to give myself a little more time .
