Salutations from this side of the pond.
I'm a Canadian "Colonial" who enjoys, along with other periods, Colonial wargaming, in particular the Zulu War.
My great-grand-dad was a veteran of the 1st Btn, 24th Foot so I have a personal interest.   Back in 2006 I sculpted a Bell tent and Zulu Induna for Pendraken, which was a lot of fun.
The forum is super - a real feel of community about it.
I look forward to knowing you all a little better.

Cheers,
Rob

They'd none of them be missed !
And apologetic statesmen of the compromising kind,

Good one, Ithoriel!
Another G & S enthusiast!  ;D

Now tho' you'd have said that head was dead,
(For its owner dead was he),
It stood on its neck with a smile well bred,
And bowed three times to me!
It was none of your impudent off-hand nods
But as humble as could be;
For it clearly knew the deference due
To a man of pedigree!
And it's oh, I vow, This deathly bow
Was a touching sight to see;
Though trunkless, yet it couldn't forget
The deference due to me! - Pooh Bah

Cheers,

Imagine what FK would do with that!

Welcome to this global village, Rob. Remember, if it can be done it can be done in 10mm. (Hey, that almost makes sense).  :D
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Hmmmm. I might add a "dislike" button, and for that matter a "delete for illiteracy", a "Get the !#$%$ history right", a "not another tiresome racist/sexist joke", and a "Where the Huitzlipochtli are my Mexicans?" button.

Perhaps better not to concentrate too much power even in responsible hands like mine.
