Yes to the Pendraken Goblins / Kallistra Orcs being the same figures, and the Pendraken Orcs are slightly smaller I think, but a lot heftier.

I'm not sure on the Kallistra Mountain Orcs though, I don't think I've ever seen those?

:-\

On holiday with only my phone and a dodgy signal so it's a bit tricky to hop between sites to compare pictures, but I thought the chap on the front left with his axe raised was on of yours. The one in banded armour with the cleaver/sword on the front and rear right also looks familiar.  :-\

Cheers!

Whoops...maybe he's a tunnelling lemming?  ;)

Just make sure you don't paint over the rats chewing on one of the zombies.....Though they are a little more obvious !! ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil.

Lovely painting, Nik!

So long since I played. Is Warhamster played on 25 x 50s these days?

Nope - Warmaster is still usually 40x20 but I used 50x25 to give a bit more room for the figures, plus I had a load, plus I'm doing at least two armies and I mostly play solo so it's not an issue for me  :)

Fenton

did you give the goblins a black future wash Niik?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Not. Even. Close.  ;) :d ;D

I'll bung up my painting notes in a bit...

Fenton

Looking again it had the same look as some stuff I have washed in he Vallejo black  shade wash

nikharwood

Ok - I'll put you out of your misery  ;) :)

Everything Vallejo...

Bases: Beasty Brown => Leather Brown => Plague Brown
Overbrush everything: Beasty Brown

Squigs: Scar Red => Blood Red => Fiery Orange; Spines / Fangs: Bone White

Trolls: Flesh: Leather Brown => Bone White; Clubs: Plague Brown; Metal: Shining Gold, Mithril Silver

Wolves: Leather Brown => Plague Brown => Bone White

Goblins: Flesh: Fieldgrau => Camo Green; Cloth: Cold Grey, Plague Brown; Wood: Plague Brown; Metal: Shining Gold, Mithril Silver

Then...ta daa (I cheated - mostly because these nasty little green feckers have been taunting me to paint them for a year now....b@$tards!):

Wilko's 5 Year Woodstain: Rustic Oak (Satin) - brushed on to everything (undiluted)

Bases: superglued static grass, drybrush Bone White & then Plague Brown; base edges: Flat Earth
Spray varnish: Army Painter Matt

Done - simples  8)

Fenton

Ta for that

I have used B&G  stain varnish on 10mm before...maybe the wilko stuff is thinner but the B&Q stuff comes out quite gloopy on 10mm

Have now managed to finally post this on the right thread...not sure what gloopy stain and top totty have in common...oh wait  :-[

It is quite gloopy, but if you brush it on carefully, it's fine  :)
