Oh what have you guys started?  I don't like thinking too much about the labours ahead:

1. Complete "butterfly" project with 1/72 saxons and Vikings
2. Back to true scale and complete ugrade of "verneuil" armies. My "MO" is usually to buy something off ebay, touch up, reflag add another 50% new for variety and to break up unhistorical "strip" ranks and re-base it all.
3. Consolidate and Upgrade two ebay purchased WOTR armies. did someone mention 90 figure units?
4. New Late Roman, upgrade purchased Romano-Brit and Early Saxon
5. Upgrade ebay purchased huns
6. New Peninsular Spanish, Brits, Portugese, French
7. New Barons War medievals to incude scots and welsh
8. Upgrade Scottish ECW and new Jacobites.  (I will leave the opposition for fear of having to start whole Marlburian/SYW eras)
9. New Dark Age (Dux Bellorum) Picts, Scots, Irish, Welsh, Mercian
10. Upgrade Napoleonic Russian, Prussian, Austrian
11. 1/72 "El Cid" Spanish, Andalus and Herbert Lom army
12. 1/72 Crusades including Baltic, Mongols, Rus

And then he tempts me with those glorious AWI and Russians!

Is there anywhere we can get help?

Maybe this will help justfy your "lead mountain"?  :-\

Looks like this guy is more into 40K...probably why he also has another video on "You Need to Watch Out for Hobby Debt"  ;D

I think you'll find that you can buy many more 10mm Chieftains/FV 432's than you could buy 40K "Rus/Leaman" (or whatever they are called) tanks for the same amount of money..... ;)

No not a chance, just accept you are an addict.

Recovering wargamers are as common as unicorns, as they tend to relapse every time they see something shiny.

If you ever see Ground Zero games stand at a show he has a container with "free figures" working on the principle, that the first hit is free, then you will be back for more.

Sorry. I am comforted to know that everyone else seems to be as messy as I am.

Quotedid someone mention 90 figure units?
'Fraid so. For Napoleonics, I went for a division level game (10-12 battalions typically) and a ratio of about 1:10. This typically gives 60-80 figures per battalion, 40 per cavalry regiment but the Austrians want a bit more,

For the Romans I went 1:50 which gives me legions of 100 figures.

About 12:1 for Pendraken tanks vs a GW 40k Leman Russ

But that's not even trying as you can get 28:1 tanks vs 1 single command figure...

(I used WWII tanks, modern ones are a bit more expensive so just 8:1)

In these days where mental health is a more open subject, and  good mental health is something that is something that we should strive for. It should be made known particularly to spouses (other relationships are available), that a wargamer needs their own body weight in unpainted metal, resin or plastic to feel content.  :)

I really admire your discipline, but not having at least 6 things that you could possibly do next?!

That's a little bit frightening.

I've got plenty I could possibly do next; the question is what...
