Have you noticed how this Forum has turned into an old people's home - you old men all comparing medical conditions.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Last tetanus jab I had was in my bum, the view is its a much bigger muscle, so will have less pain. I don't recall it hurting, but I had been hit in the face by a hockey ball, and I suspect the split lip was more of the concern.

Last in arm injection was flu last year, seem to recall a bit of pain the next day when I lifted my arm, but pretty trivial.

How dare you assume our genders.  :D ;)

Ten days after the first Moderna shot I got the so called "Covid Arm" - basically itchy pink hotness (which was dutifully reported to CDC).
Nearly a week later pretty much gone away.

I thought my sense of taste had 'morphed' this morning......Then realised I hadn't put nearly enough sugar in my coffee. X_X =)

My little card said I'd had the Astra Z one.

Cheers - Phil. :)

You're right FK ... unless it's coffee in your sugar it's undrinkable!

Covid Vacs. Being a Carer, I received letter inviting me to book vacs, early. :)

Notes: Went online late am.  Was offered site nr. Sunderland, Hmm, OK by me, but website could not proceed..probably too busy/full at the time. Tried again mid pm, and was offered Darlington. (Where IS Darlington? Somewhere on the railway? LOL! Apologies!).  ;)
Tried again in the 'small hours', and have booked 2 visits at Newcastle... (wherever the 'site' is...'The Toon' has changed SO much!)... for about 2 weeks time. :)

So, others in similar boat... patience and re-trying may bring about a more convenient appointment. NO idea what 'jab' will be on offer, though. :(

As an aside, Googling for location near Sunderland, the maps showed an 'Air Museum'... probably the Vulcan and 'wreckage' which used to reside at 'Sunderland Aerodrome'. Usworth, (now Nissan), in my youth! Not open at present, but 'might be worth a sniff'', someday? Curious? ;)

I received my letter to book an appointment yesterday, but was already in the system via my GP, so could ignore it. At least I now know I got my jab early for being a registered carer.

The air museum at Sunderland is definitely worth visiting. As well as the Vulcan they have many, many aircraft (Sabre, Canberra etc)  and helicopters, as well as military vehicles, many if which used to be at the vehicle collection in Newcastle. Lots of displays (street mock ups etc).  Check the website for details (it is now called North East land sea and air museum).  It is a good day out. (And the food at the nearby pub used to be decent as well, been a while since I went as a disclaimer though....).
