Drop Bears are quite cuddly in realty. Tree Octopi are just cute.
The 'Pelmet Cat', however, IS a fearsome creature!  :o

I hear it all the time from a friend of mine - he's a dairy farmer.

I think we should all go back to wearing boaters whilst gaming.

Love the pics fsn.  Those were the days.   Curious how 30mm prevailed then among the pioneers [but airfix 1/72 for us improverished kids] and the 25-28-"heroic" moderns have now grown to match.

Do any forum members still have a sand table?    My newbuild floors already groan under the 10mm mountain.

FSN... ah yes! That book and others still there, somewhere. Used to salivate over the pics, while mucking about with Airfix...and flaking enamel paint!  ;D
On 'nostalgia'... having picked up a few 'Callan' episodes from digital TV recently, have been re-watching my DVDs... including the film, with 'Gettysburg' battle.
Hinchcliffe figs arranged by Peter Gilder. Just wondering what happened to the 'film star' pieces and scenery? Anyone know?

"Hey, Children, gather round... no, not too close, Josh and Marek... right! Once... a very long time ago... there were things called 'Libraries'. Where you could borrow 'someone else's' books! Yes, I know... Yeuch!, Jodi, you DO know what a book is... like a Mag but bigger!
Those books had been sweated on, sneezed on. smoked on... and sometimes still had bits of sandwich in them!
But people loved them..."

Hm. Somewhere on here I posted that I was unimpressed with the movie 'The Last Of The Mohicans' when it came out. '92 ish. Maybe it was a pub closing time vid  'hire'... and I missed bits! But, having got a dvd to re-watch, it IS rather good.  :)
The only thing that 'jarred' was the premise of Fenimore Cooper's title... they were NOT the last of the Mohicans... but that's Bset Selling Authors for you...   ;D

I'm pretty sure Edward Woodward bought the miniatures and possibly the terrain from the episode they featured in 'Callan' as he liked them so much.

Recently bought some plastic figs from a Great Guy on another forum. had quite a chat. Edward Woodward,  (as 'Wicker Man' ), came up.
Gentleman worked in an Edinburgh Hotel while Edward Woodward was staying. Saw E W was 'working' on a RHA battery and struck up chat! Did errands for paint. On departure, E W called him to room and thanked him with Hotel Manager present.... and gave him a hand painted figure and a 'tip' for nearly 3 wks wages!

Always liked Edward Woodward in his roles as Callan and The Equaliser, etc. The Callan Film DVD has an interview which is refeshingly 'normal'. Seems like a really nice bloke!
RIP, Sir.

Hadn't heard about table and figs... rather 'hope' true!
