Once again i will be attempting to maintain both the blog and a give regular updates on my progress.

Overall 2012 was one of the most productive years I have had and I think tracking things through the blog helped immensely. I spent far more than I really should have been allowed to get away with by SWMBO, so this year (and with the threat of redundancy still very much hanging over me) I am aiming for a spend that is balanced between rounding off old projects before embarking on new things.

I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

That's a nice assortment of projects there Nosher  :)

I've been trying - and mostly succeeding - over the last year to limit my own butterfly nature and focus on some core stuff that I really want to do; being able to game more regularly with the Minehead crew is also helping as it means that I'm playing more with stuff I've already got...although the flipside is that they pay some stuff which I've managed to resist so far, but that resistance is crumbling on a couple of things  :)

Anyway, looking forward to seeing your progress mate  8)

Why thank you kind sir! However to keep pace with you and your projects I need a further 52 weeks in a year!

I know what you mean - this year I've been attending regular Friday night meets of the SADWC (Sudbury and District Wargamers Club) and whilst this has helped focus the mind and get more games in with things in my collection, it has also meant I've been distracted by other projects I wouldn't necessarily go within a couple of km of!!

Look forward to following your progress. All kinds of things conspiring against me at present from getting anywhere near to my gaming stuff :(.

Cheers Chaps ;)

One question for you... does buying a rule set break the rule of "branching out into anything new before March this year" which I imposed on myself in my blog?

Ah, the trick is to climb back on the wagon. Don't just blow the whole thing.  ;)
