Wow, thank you guys very much!  Im honored!

I tend to paint in layers, darkest to light - "the Dallimore system" if you will,  But for 10s, I typically skip the mid layer.  So, there is quite a large contrast between the base layer and the top highlight layer.  Also, for ACW Confederates, I used all of my greys and browns until I was sick of seeing greys and browns!  And then, I used more greys and browns!   ;)

Here are my first batch of the 'new' sculpts from Pendraken.  Great little sculpts, as usual.



And, just for posture, here is a comparison pic of new (left) and old (right) sculpts (there could be some Blaze Away minis in there too  :-[).  The old are actually quite a bit bigger, but they will look fine in separate units!!!

That's a turn-up for the books. With most manufacturers it's a case of the new range usually dwarfs the old one. Trust Pendraken to reverse the trend!  ;)
