Credited with invention of the Chicken Tikka Masala

A Glaswegian chef credited with inventing the chicken tikka masala has died, aged 77.

Ali Ahmed Aslam is said to have come up with the dish in the 1970s when a customer asked if there was a way of making his chicken tikka less dry.

Brilliant satirical brain and great comedy actor.
Loved him in TW3 even though I was young, and A Very Peculiar Practice and Bremner Bird and Fortune. Seemed to be in loads of other things in sketches and character parts.
Missed very much.
