Random question do you find jumping between projects helps keep the momentum?

Well, it does keep it fresh. depends how big a lot is really, sometimes it pays to get it all done in one go, sometimes you are better off breaking it up

I find if I'm nearing completion on something (or keen to get it on the table) I'll focus on it pretty much exclusively (as I've been the past couple of months with a few bits). But then it's good to mix it up with a few different projects for a while as well (as I'll be doing going forwards for a while).

If I'm seeking inspiration I'll sometimes list out a number of ongoing projects and number them, then let the dice decide. Roll a dice, pick an item to do from whatever came up on the list and paint it up, then roll the dice and do the same again with whatever arises. Keeps things interesting, and also gives you a bit of motivation to do projects that have been lingering at the bottom of the pile for a while and you've not quite been inspired to tackle.

Peter, can you define what you count as a 'model'

Does scale count - ie 0ne 10mm = One 6mm block?
Do cavalry count as two models
How do you class vehicles

a model is a model, a block is one model, a single mini, no matter what size is a model. Cavalry is one model and a vehicle one model as well. So, if it comes as a separate model it is 'a model' (epic 40k models for example are counted as separate models)
