Welcome to the forum, Cavillarius - from another foreigner.  :)
I think you will find Pendraken's range and service nonpareil.

Isn't Belgium still in Europe?

We are all European then!

At least until Brexit.

Well, indeed! Both our online contact and the samples have been excellent so far.

Coming from 6mm, where scale creep is rife, I was pleasantly surprised to find that at least Old Glory and Pendraken are fully compatible. I'm still waiting for my sample batches from Magister Militum and Steve Barber. The bulk of my forces will come from our host, though!

Welcome To the forum Cavillarius

I have had problems with scale creep within the Magister Militum  Early imperial roman range.  The legionaries only came up to the armpits of the auxiliary archers.  I don't know if it was just that pack or what, but I believe that some of thier rangers have more than one sculptor

Let's just agree that what unites us is that we all play with toy soldiers. That way we're at least inclusive of everyone!

Welcome to the forum Cavillarius!

Pendraken are a great company to deal with.

The figures are gorgeous (and improving with every new range IMHO).

The members of  the forum are well-read, well-intentioned and well weird :D

Cavallarius, here are a couple old blog posts that show some 10mm figure comparisons:

I have just recently added some Lancer Miniatures that work well with Pendraken also.

Today we are all Europeans.
Actually we will be Europeans ad infinitum, as will the Russians, Norwegians, Serbians, Swiss etc., whether or not we are in the Union. After all, much to a certain Mr.Trump's chagrin, Canadians and Mexicans are also Americans, just not citizens of the United States of that continent. Anyway, welcome from the forum's resident fan of Belgium - Hope Leuven is having better/calmer weather than us today.

What ho, Cavillarius!

You say "colonials".  Here, that usually means Americans. I am guessing in your case not. Are you thinking Belgian Colonials?
