Cornwallis

This may be a boring question, but the bases of these figures were beautiful!
I have been using GW flock so far, which I thought looked great, but no longer do...
What flock has been used for your bases?

:-bd very nice indeed.  Brings back memories, I did Guilford some time ago, Brits in 28mm and the opposition in 1/72 plastic (way to expensive in 28mm).  Eccentric or what?

Great stuff, goatmajor.
What a pity, that I'll do single base battalions  ;)

BTW. You wrote:

BL infantry probably didn't wear tarletons.

Quote23rd foot (without a goat)
Is there any evidence, they had goat in America (I haven't read Mark Urban's book yet) ?
I'd be very pleased to add a goat to my regiment.  :)

The first mention of the Regimental Goat is in Lt. Frederick MacKenzie's diary for St. David's Day 1775 when the Regiment was quartered in Boston prior to the onset of the American Revolution. The Goat is described as

"...with gilded horns and adorned with ringlets of flowers."
