Trident Realms

I've been working on these reinforcements for the last week or so, and I think they are now pretty much done (except the giant)


3 bases of Deep Ones (from CP Models), Coral Giant (GW), 3 bases of Tidal Swarms (CP Models), 4 bases of Nokken aka water sprites (Magister Militum) and some Druids (Pendraken)

I did go with the suggestion of black mottling on the Deep Ones claws - but not sure if it shows in the photo.

They have come out well for a simple paint scheme. They are nice chunky old school figures.

Inspired by a woodcut of spanish tercios over on LAF, I got some figures out to attempt to recreate the look. I'm using rather earlier figures (mainly Landsknechts), but it still gives the same overall look.




And a more overhead shot


A right mix of figures, the pike are Pendraken, the lancers are Kallistra, some of the shooters are Warmonger, most of the rest are Warmaster
