Had some time to myself this afternoon, so was able to get some basing done on the fishermen, and took some photos in daylight.





These have been fun and quick to paint up, and I'm really liking how they have turned out.

Last Friday's Game



More Fantasy mass battle using our home brew rules - this time using an Age of Sigma scenario, which had a summoning portal in the middle.

A fun game, I was Forces of Nature (lots of Pendraken figures) vs Vampire Counts. VC won, as they were able to get their summoner in, summon the second half of their army then get him away. I'd made an error in putting all my troops through the middle, should have put some fast movers as a flanking force.

The VC heavy cavalry did a dressage around the outside of the ruined castle - and were so ineffectual, and annoying in their mere useless presence that the VC commander removed them from the sub-commander, and put the figures away!

Yep, a few bits of a mates very large collection of pieces. It needs a bit more painting, as it's essentially flat grey at the minute.

It was supposed to be an old ruin!

But with some builders it could be brand new!

Did some final detailing on these chaps, waiting for the final wash to dry, and should be able to base them up in the next couple of days
