BP56 14" Railway gun - fixing couplings to bogeys

So I'm looking for advice on how to best fix the couplings to the bogeys of the Railway Gun.



Is it really just a case of bathing then in super glue and affixing them to the metal bar, or is there a better way?

I'd glue it then drill and reinforce with a small metal pin. Hope this helps?
