A quick photo of what it's all going to look like more or less... apologies for the picture quality!
Details and colors don't really come across but you'll get the idea.

Any comments? Please let me hear it!

Starting to look pretty impressive. Will certainly enhance the web pages.

Not the expected dark blue but I think it shows the figures off better  :)

Thanks all,

The greatcoats were standard issued in skyblue for Union troops so dark blue wouldn't have been correct.
On the flag; it's one of the Pendraken ones that I partially painted over to make it fit in better with the paintwork on the figures.

Some officers wore dark blue overcoats, but then sustained a lot of casualties so started wearing the other ranks light blue coat.

You leave their privates out of this! Privates need to be free of gov'mint meddling!

Oooeeer, it's all gone a bit Bennu Hill again! Crossed with the Tea Party, which is doubly weird  :o

I'm not a huge fan of the flag... but the figures look good.

I asked Leon for the flags since I thought it would be good to incorporate them in the 'finished product'.
I'm sure there are more detailed flags for sale on the internet but I wanted to keep it all as 'Pendraken' as possible.
The flags themselves have a distinct 'printed look' though and thats why I decided to touch it up with paint so they would go better with the figures.
If anybody has any suggestions on how to use the Pendraken flags please feel free to let me know!

Just make sure they have some motion in them. I also paint the entire edge with brown wash to hide the white of the paper

But yours looks better than mine actually  :-\

Ace of Spades

Thanks Peter,
I've painted the edges of this one in gold because of the gold fringe usually found in US flags.
This one also has some motion in it although it's hardly visible from this perspective...

I can understand that.  I bet your flags look great from a couple of arm lengths away.

You probably didn't intend this to be funny but I was rather amused by your comment; 'a couple of arm lengths away', with 10mm figures you'll probably hardly see them at all so I bet they'll look good too! ;D ;D ;D
