Told you they looked good. Even better in real sunlight (fairly rare in Wellington this time of year!!)

We'll be using them in a demo game on 15 - 16 August at Call to Arms, the local gaming clubs big bash for the year.

Good progress on the third batch; hair, flesh highlights and helmet covers left to do

Good progress today, third batch now 'painted', just needs some touch ups and wash 

Started work on some of the counters we will be using in the game; Mounted/Dismounted, No advance, No action, Retired, Routed,...

Glued all the counters I had printed out onto bases and had 13 bases left, must have counted wrong 

Then realised I hadn't printed any "Reserved Fire" counters, anyone want to hazard a guess how many I will do

10, you can never have too many spare counters.

Washed third batch last night and prepared the last of the bases I need for the Hussars.

Sorted remaining batches, three more to do. British infantry and dismounted cavalry next.

Will paint the figure bases green tonight then start basing up tomorrow night

Finished painting the current batch of Germans last night, so:

Painted
149 Infantry, Dismounted cavalry & gunners
103 Cavalry
9 Guns
261 Total

Had a catch up with Peter and finalised the counters we will use.

Given the forecast for the weekend, Periods of rain. Northerly gales. & Rain. Southeasterlies. I won't be varnishing this batch or undercoating the next batch soon 

Instead I will focus on getting the counters ready for a practise game on Saturday, then bashing this batch.

Still need to get this batch based and varnished in time for our demo game at Call to Arms, mid August
