What's the 'definition' on an ipad Will ?
If it's 'squillions' of megapixels....you can probably get a decent enough image from a bit further away and just crop it....

As far as rules go, either tfl I ain't been shot mum Falklands special or I'll cobble something together loosely based on the good bits of Flames of War (very very loosely)...
