Cold coffee = "Frappuccino"

Very refreshing on a hot afternoon. Not my first choice on a day like today though!
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Cold coffee with Tafia-rum kept the French Army going through WW-1 (although I guess the rum was more decisive than the cold coffee...). Tried it while re-enacting last year and it works perfect! :D

Cheers!

Cold coffee is the work of Beelzebub... :d

The Devil saw God's good coffee and was jealous...so he took it to Wales and watched it go cold :-&

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Forgot to say.....It's got to have at least 4 spoons of sugar in it.
Barbarian's not far off with what I drink.....Brown, very sweet flavoured water would probably be nearer the mark.

Had a couple of friends visiting from the States a good few years ago....Had to buy some 'proper' coffee for them.
Tried it !.....That, to me, is really horrid....Probably as much as the stuff I drink, would be vomit inducing for them. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cheers - Phil ;)

I think we need to take a step back here and REALLY look at what we are drinking.

My current coffee is from Sri Lanka, handpicked and panroasted. Friend of mine is importing it (along with some lovely teas).
Other than that it is CARO (a barley drink) which tastes very similar but has no sideeffects of ceffeein.

What I am trying to say is: Less is more. I do not mind paying about 4 quid per 250g of coffee which tastes good and moreover I know those 4 quid largely go to the growers themselves. Same thing with my latest addiction honey and Mead. I simply cannot find any decent honey or Mead in the UK although one would expect otherwise. Ended up getting my stuff sent over fom an organic beefarm in Germany. It all depends how much yourself is willing to give up for a return of great taste.

I also bake most of our bread at home nowadays. Having horsemeat in the beef-brugers has certainly helped my choice of lifestyle.

Iced coffee is disgusting - even when sitting in the shade in Corfu Town watching the cricket on the esplanade.  :-& :-q

The classic "love in a canoe" stuff.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

It'd be awfully dull if we all liked exactly the same thing, eh ?  ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D
Have I heard that the World's most exclusive and expensive 'coffee' bean is one that's been through the digestive tract of some animal or other ?
Anyone ever tried that ?
Cheers - Phil.
