I used to keep nail varnish in my tool box, back when I repaired electronics for a living. We used it to fix the azimuth screw in place on tape decks.

QuoteYou have teak in Ghana?

We had wild teak in Nigeria and a I was lucky to have a truly wonderful piece to work with. Happy days :).

marie

Yep to all we have teak, mahogany, clear nail varnish makes great varnish, if you run out of Citadel gloss varnish,
prefer matt really, but kinda think shiny gloss is good for 10mm...
And as for super glue, its super sticky in this heat....
The god news is the soil is full of Iron, and is great for basing...
ans of course wall powder (poly-filler to you and I) lol....

errr...

I've only just noticed this. Which is usual. If you ever have any orders from Leon I can hand carry them sometimes as I travel to Ghana a lot with work. ahhhh the joys of the Amtrak domestic flights to Takoradi.

Give me a shout if you ever need anything bringing over and I can post it from Ghana when I get there. Might save on post for you.

That's the spirit. Aye.

marie

Hi Alan, Takoradi, nice, I`m in Aburi, running a luxury hotel,
so thanks for the offer, I may consider that option, if you need a room with a view...
then msg me for details...

Alan

I will let you know for sure!

Sounds like you might have the space to offer Wargaming holidays  :D
I'm about to embark on the fool's mission of setting up Battle of the Auroch Hills with 10mm figures as well as building a scale model of the battleground. Maybe next year.

Hertsblue

All you need is 10,000 plus figures, a shedful of terrain, a few tables and the patience of Job.  ;)
