Hi,

I'm Dimitri, from France, currently 34 years old.

Complete beginner in 10mm, but not in games (I play and collect minis since I'm 15 or 16 I believe...like almost everyone on minis forums, I guess), I recently (last months/years) went to solo gaming first with D&D adventure games, then with Victory point games, and finally with Two Hour wargames games.

I recently bought Rally Round the king, in the purpose of playing solo campaigns. As a solo player without personal fortune, I decided to go 10mm, pendraken especially.

I'm currently polishing my shopping list with questions in the correct forum. I hope I will be able to post more interesting things soon, like painting, and customizing.

thanks for this kind of company, making our hobby more affordable.

Hi Dimitri, always nice to see a new member of the forum.

Lots of knowledgeable people here to ask about the period you are interested in, figures that might be appropriate and techniques for painting 10mm figures.

My motto for these forums is "don't ask permission, ask a question" :)
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Welcome Dimitri

I think I've been following your posts on THW's forum.
You're in excellent company here - a fine bunch of people and Leon, etc at Pendraken are extremely helpful.
I look forward to seeing your work.

Hello and welcome.

I am also a solo wargamer without fortune, largely since I found Pendraken.  :)

Beware the posts about "new releases". They are particularly good making you need things you never knew you wanted.

Welcome to the forum

What part of France are you in?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
