Hello
I had two solo games this past 2 days.
First I set up a Chain of Command game, "attack and defend" with my France 40 minis. ( But the official lists were NOT available, they appeared several hours after my game  :'( )
But it was a good solo game :

Then, sunday, ( as my opponents are still away  :( )  I played again this scenario but with our house rules for Force on Force.

This was a different game. I can't tell which one is the best. I liked both of them !

Good looking report, as always Ronan, keep them coming!

Are you doing anything special with Force on Force in order to play it solo?  I tried it a couple times but couldn't get it too work as it had too many decision points and got too bogged down.  I was always looking for a quick way to determine if the enemy should react, if yes -which units should react and which should not, should they move forward, backward, or hold position, etc...?

Good reports, Ronan, especially for those of us trying to learn French!  :)
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

As IanS said, there are charts. But I also activate teams in a random manner, picking chips with their numbers. So I don't know when they will play. ( nor which side !)
I will try to find some time to write about it. ( but I have much work these days.. can't say when I will do this. )

Thanks
