Hey all.

Seems i have lost my painting mojo a little bit  :(

I have been bumped from regular hours at work to shifts again without any explenation, and i just can't find the strength or time to do anything at all.

Have you guys experienced this before? (i bet all of us ) And how do you cope?

Wait until the desire to paint is upon me is the short answer. Whilst i wait I do other gaming stuff, like basing, planning scenarios etc. Other things include reading military history or doing something completely different. Hope this helps?

Yes.

Sadly not much you can do. I STRONGLY advise against painting when you are not really up for it. Start another hobby somewhat related. Reading history is a good idea.

I do agree on painting without the urge to paint, it just makes me lose more mojo. I think i'll plan a solo game in for friday, gives me the urge to finish off the 17 pdr that's half painted maybe ...

"At least one colour on at least one figure by bedtime" is my mantra for such times. It doesn't even have to be the same figure each time. Just enough to feel that I am making some sort of dent in the lead mountain.

Kept me sane recently while I was under pressure at work - enough pressure to have left the company concerned. Well as sane as I ever was, which might be a subject of some debate :)
