Nick,
Thanks a bunch for all the help.

And I think I just figure out (again) how to post the pics.  Let me give this a try:

This is the original pic I posted of some of my guys fro my Cuba Libre! stuff...  You and everyone else in the world told me I need to use a wash on them, which I resisted (because I'm a a$$hole), but finally got round to, with the following results:

Pic's a tad blurry (sorry), but I think you get the gist of it, and I think they look much better.  I did water down the wash quite a bit (about 1/2 and 1/2) so it didn't turn out too dark.

Thanks again (and let's see if the pics work).

Jack

Okay, the pics worked.  Next question: how do I get them to be more 'reasonably' sized?

Excellent (nicely done on the wash BTW  ;))

To get them smaller - when you bring up the [img] tags, insert, after the 'img' in the first bracketed tag only, a space, then 'width=xxx' where xxx = pixel width - so, in your original post here, I resized them to be 700 - so the tag looks like [img width=700]

Hope that makes sense  :)

Okey-dokey, here goes:

EDIT: Got it!  Thanks Nik, this should mean I'm no longer making demands upon your time to fix my screw-ups.  :D

Okay, you guys can stop rubbing it in, you were right, the wash worked like a champ  :-[

The wife and kids have an engagement this evening, and I set the table up and played out the Patrol Phase last night, so I'm hoping to steal a game tonight.
