Okay, as requested here are my Warmaster Fantasy Samurai rules.  I have play-tested these to death.

They are great against orcs (what isn't) and lizardmen.  Khemri are a bit of a nemesis army (skull chuckers and doom and despair).

The sharp eyed will notice that the spells are the same as the ones I've used for Mongols (more so I can playtest the Mongols without imbalance and the armies have similarities).

All feedback welcome.   :-bd

Enjoy ;)

No oriental dragon or temple dragon-dogs (available from all goo garden centres).

And the list goes on...

Yeah I agree but wanted something a little more original and quasi-fantasy.  Plus, the list is overlong anyway (by WM standards) and it was knowing when to stop.

Thanks Lem, I'm sure you're not the only Temple Dog fan  :)

I will try and include "goo" on the next list  ;D

Here is the attachment again: the first version had some random numbers on it  :(

Shouldn't samurai heroes be 0-7?

Cheers mate  :)

What do you think of the monks?

Cool - will have a proper read of these later (and think about how the Apes could fit in)  8)

Apes would be easy.  Myself, I'd use them as Samurai foot substitutes  8)

Really interesting. Good to see a list like that :)

Very intersting concepts, but I do not understand the stats. Are they for warmaster?

what do you mean with armoue = 3 ?             3+ to save in 1d6?

again, great ideas over there.

Yeah, Warmaster fantasy  :-bd

Let's see, for example:

Troop      Type      Attack   Hits   Armour   Comm   Unit Size   Points   Min/Max   Special
Peasants      Infantry   4    3   3   0   -   3   30      1/-    *1

I do not know what is 4

Attack: 3
Hits: 3
Armour 0
Comm -
Unit size 3
Points 30
Min/max 7/-
Special*1
