Didn't want to mention it, but - the fur does need at least a dusting of dark earth (watch the specs!)

I agree on the fur not sold on it yet.  it looks ok with the 10mm figures and better with 15's, but not the 6mm buildings.  I just did not want to paint the board and have a little flexibility.  We plan Fire and Fury Battlefront WWII where crop fields do count as sparse cover.   I will work on the fields last as they have no effect in the rules.  Maybe a piece of felt or thicker fleece might work. The felt can at least be painted/colored.

BTW I visited Schweinschadel last year, its a massive complex of barns and outbuildings, solidly built and capable of holding a battalion.

AAR posted in the Batrep section.  As far as the rules are concerned, they played out nicely, but we have been playing Fire and Fury for years.  Just a few minor things we need to rork on and I have a few questions to ask Bill.  Pulled the fields, just did not like how they turned out.  I think I might just paint them on the cloth.  I have time!  Now its on tot he next 2 boards
