Happy to met you all here! My name is Tom Dye. some of you may remember me as the Proprietor of GFI in the USA. Since 1 Feb 2010, I have been working in Stuttgart, Germany and had to close in August 2011. Still own the AIM range, but do not worry, I could not sell anything here even if I wanted to!  I am a fellow gamer and collector of the smaller scales. I had the honor to meet Leon and his son, at a con in the Netherlands in 2010. (Attack?)

I am currently building forces and terrain for the WSS. SYW is on the horizon for me in this scale. I ALWAYS enjoy looking at other peoples eye-candy! There is NO such thing as a badly painted figure to me! Remember, it is part of the fun in this hobby to try your hand at painting your armies. As soon as I find a place to park the pictures, I will be happy to share my efforts, too.

I have been developing rules that uses unit cohesion (NOTcasualties) as the guiding mechanic/value set. This means you put your units on the table and take them off as a unit- no bean couting of casualties. Perfect for 10mm and smaller big battles. So, please, let' share ideas on how best to use this scale.

See you on the message boards! :D

Welcome Tom...Good to see your still involved with gaming
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Hi Tom,

Welcome!  It was seeing your AIM 10mm ECW figures at a FALL IN! at Gettysburg many years ago which got me started in 10mm.  Now thousands of figures later, I have little else in my collection.   Look forward to your participation.

PS.  I thought the AIM ranges (described as 12mm I think) were now owned by MINIFIGS, or are they just agents for selling them?

Well I would presume Leon would be Zebedee and Dave Mr Rusty

Because of the speed I paint at I think Brian the snail would suit

. I think you'll find Nosher grabbed Dylan in the first post on this rather odd digression.  Want to fight him for the honour?    Looks like you're heading inevitably towards Florence?   :-[

Should have a sugar cube eating competition to decide...Loser has to be Kiki the Frog from Hectors House instead

You always remind me more of a Dougal anyway Techno

Be fair.....Florence would NEVER have made the Mongols.
