anyone know of anybody who makes these terrain templates in acrylic not MDF

Not sure on that one.  If those ones are lasered, you could try contacting ERM, as it's just a cast of putting a different material into the laser machine?  If not, give Martin a shout at Warbases, he does a lot of stuff in acrylic.
