O Dinas Powys

Heard the sad news on the midnight news last night, another gaming influence passes away...  :(

With dedicated children's telly will the youth of today discover the classics of cinema like we were "forced" to during the long summer holidays and on wet Sunday afternoons?!  :-\

Very sad that M.

Strange thing is....I thought he'd passed away quite a few years ago.
But the man was a SUPERSTAR !
RIP Ray.
Cheers - Phil.

I love those films, they come on every now and then, and they're one of the few films I'll sit and watch everytime.  I'll be making the kids watch them as well next time they're on.

I know what you mean Phil, it was a slight surprise to find out be was still alive, umm, only extremely recently deceased...  ;)

On the obligatory slight tangent: it's taken his recent appearances in Dr Who to finally convince me Bernard Cribbins isn't dead! One day I'll set up my "deadoralive.com - NOT a Pete Burns tribute site" to keep track of all those people who occasionally crop up in conversation that you're not entirely sure are still with us!  :-B

Cheers!

Those old Flash Gordon movies were hammy, but part of my childhood, so have fond memories of them. I always liked the space ship coming into land but the smoke from the engines rising far too quickly.

Couldn't agree more, Steve...
