Now you're asking!

Might be a few copyright issues there!  But maybe something that looked a bit similar?  At the moment, all the designers are busy, so couldn't give you any idea of when or even if we could do those.
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 10,000 products, including nearly 5000 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints, Tiny Tin Troops flags and much, much more!

Nosher

Something that looked similar(ish) would be high on my purchase list - even at a steepish price because the alternatives are 1/144th ebay options which come up infrequently and go for a packet.

I'm more than happy to wait as my next purchases will be SCW/Vietnam ;)

Do you mean this:

That's quite a big bit of kit!

ooooohhh, yes, indeedy :P

Me want one... ;D

Dont care what it costs - it wont be anywhere near what you have to pay on Ebay for the 1/144th kit.

HI,

Looking for some figures suitable for doing some VSF gaming and, although there are plenty of Colonial figures available, there seems to be a dearth of figures to use as Burroughs-style Martians.  I think I have found a source that could be cobbled enough to serve as Red Martians, but the Green Martians have me completely stumped.  I suppose some 15mm Orcs would do in a pinch, but it would be nice to have some specific figures.  I have no idea how possible this might be because of copyrights and such.  However, I believe I have seen some talk of a John Carter of Mars movie coming out -sometime- so a tie-in might be possible.

Leon

Copyright issues will probably come into play, but have you got any artwork of what you're looking for, and I'll see if we can recommend anything.

Could Pendraken do miniatures for halo? I would love to play FWC with the aliens from halo.

This could be a big project but pay off in a huge way.

It's probably something we'd be reluctant to do for copyright reasons.

I was thinking about this a while back, but as Leon says its impossible to do because of the copyright issues.

It'd be really cool though.

Megamatman

It'd be cool but Microsoft has the halo ip locked down tight! It'd cost £££££££££ it acquire a licence.

Have you played the Reach beta? I'm loving it!

I kinda fell out of the Halo tree after 3; I was a bit underwelmed by it. Possibly as I didn't play it online.
Didn't bother with ODST (though I'd pick it up if I saw it cheap; maybe)

I probably enjoyed the first one the most, the open battles were good (granted the library was a pain), at the time it stood out as a great game, the sequels haven't been quite as far ahead of the competition as the original was.
I remember seeing the first trailer for it (before the xbox existed, and poached it form the PC), and being pretty gobsmacked at the time!

Hurley

Sadness. Still I wonder what the cost of getting the rights would be. I mean the rights for 10mm halo figures would be like one ice cube of the iceberg of the halo franchise.

What about star gate or star ship troopers (the book not movie)?

Actually doing G.I. Joe would be sweet as well....think of all the cool tanks and planes.

Space above and beond as well.

Yes - starship troopers - now theres an idea - are they copyrighted? I know theres a firm out there doing 28mm - (anyone got a name of the firm??) but if I remember theyre darned mucho gelto - and it would cost you an arm and a leg to create the numbers required- but in 10 mm?? - ooooooh yes

But then again- the Sci fi range Pendraken has could do that now really - ok Ill just shut up!  :'(

Well you can't get ant more sci-fi then G.I Joe. I was just putting it out there cause it would get a lot of attention. It also fits a army scale very well.

And hey battletech was a tv show to and star wars.

We've got some bugs and troopers in the Sci-Fi range that could work quite well for a Starship Troopers game.
