Some of you may have already seen this on other Forums, but I thought it was worth putting it here as well.  Kev Adams, the 'Goblinmaster' was attacked and stabbed during a burglary at his home last Wednesday.  Kev was in his sculpting studio in the loft when they broke in downstairs, but they then made their way upstairs and attacked him in his studio.  He was stabbed in the face and chest and also suffered a broken cheekbone courtesy of a knuckleduster.

So, a whole load of people have got together to help out, including one-off sculpts from some of the biggest names in the business, along with all sorts of other stuff.  There's a Facebook page with all the details of what's going on here, so give it a look if you can: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Goblinaid/582169528462833

Whilst we've never had the pleasure of any of Kev's work in our ranges, we'd like to pass on our best wishes and wish him a speedy recovery.

Oh **** !
Hadn't heard about that.
I'll send him a mail immediately !
He's a genuinely lovely guy...

As I do not have his email my wishes are here.

But another example of low morality in this world, which I believe has gone too far and we have to go back to the middle ages punishment . Public beatings DO work.

If anyone would like to send Kev a message....Via a PM through me......I'd be more than happy to forward them.
As I say...he's a lovely guy (but also quite a private one.)
Cheers - Phil.

That's a shocking new.

I wish him a soon recovery.

Read about it several days ago on another forum. Shocking indeed. Though I don't know Kev personally, I've the pleasure of having many of his miniatures in my collection, he is a talented guy.

I wish him a speedy recovery, hopefully with no lasting ill effects.

Cheers,

Kev

If I understood the mail I had from last night....He's having some plates put in his face this morning and then being kept in for observation for 24 hours.
He was making a joke about the skin having to be stretched over the plates, "which will make me look younger."
He seems to be 'fine' in himself...He's far more upset about his family being so traumatized.

He sent a couple of different photo's of what they did to his face.....NOT pretty.

I so sincerely hope they catch the little s***s that did this and lock them away for an age. >:( >:( >:( >:(

Cheers - Phil.

Last Hussar

Aggravated Burglary with intent to cause Grievous Bodily Harm, possession of bladed weapon in commission of a offence (always a lovely little multiplier on the sentence).  I'd imagine a few years- depends on the previous, but given they didn't run away when confronted I'm guessing not their first time.  The knife precludes early release on tag.

Hard to guess sentence- sometimes you look at them and go "Why did HE get longer than HIM?".  Will discuss at work tomorrow.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Oh, I checked - 7 years could be the LOWER end of the sentence.  10 years isn't unknown.

Sorry to play the racist card but the "it is my culture" generation probably will be able to claim damages from Kev as he unduly disturbed their daily work.

Only justified sentence is handcuff them and leave them alone with the victims for a couple of days. Being the son of a police officer AND a victim of crime I am sad to say but this is the only way both those bas**rds learn a lesson they never forget and for the victims (imho society itself) find justice be done.
