I'm sure this has been answered in the past, but my tea-strainer of a mind seems to have leaked it somewhere along the line. What is the nearest match for Saxon limber-riders and teams? I seem to remember that the foot artillery wore the flat cap but the horse artillery had a raupenhelm. Will Bavarians do for foot artillery? And what about the horse boys?

I'd like to clear this up before I do something rash.  =)

It has indeed come up in the past.   I am assuming the question is solely to do with limber riders and teams.  If so, the Bavarians should do fine for the horse artillery teams, but would not work for the foot artillery.  Up to a few months ago I did not think there was a suitable set of riders/sitters for the Saxon foot artillery, but I think I  identified something which might work in the Schleswig Holstein range, and that is some of the Danish artillery. Although the sitters are in shako the outriders are in caps.  I think it came up in a thread called something like "1st Schleswig-Holstein War Danish" about October last year.  In fact, I think you commented on it on 6th October!  :D
