Though I didn't know Smoggies say 'fillum' for film.
Always assumed that was just an Irish pronunciation. :-\
Having lived for a long time in Nottinghamshire there were also a lot of words that were very familiar.

Our Scottish neighbours in the 70s used to say "fillum" as well.
