Hi Guys

Unemployment has gotten to me so much I have taken a job as a tutor preparing underprivileged youf prepare for Army admission.

Can anyone suggest a short story with a military setting I could use?

What period?

What point are you trying to get over?

"Since you're poor, let die for your country" point ?

"My Childhood Years": the prologue to Nadezhda Durova's The Cavalry Maiden in which she describes her frustration with the limitations of her prescribed way of living, disguises herself as a boy and runs away from home to join the Russian army in the wars against Napoleon.

Im not concerned about the period but something with a visual element as they will need to do an assessment that requires a poster.

If its 5 or 6 pages that would be great.
